He's not just a director—he's an award-winning storyteller who's taken the scenic route, literally. From shooting in the deserts of the Middle East to the neon lights of Tokyo, Samuel's journey as a filmmaker has been anything but ordinary. His knack for blending high-octane visuals with deep, emotional stories has made him a go-to for brands like Toyota, McDonald's, and Fender Guitars, and a true collaborator at heart.

Raised on a steady diet of pop culture in Sydney, Samuel's love for stories started with comic books and evolved into directing music videos for legends like INXS. Along the way, he's won MTV Awards, ARIA Awards, and Dance Music Awards for his music videos. He's also collaborated with top-tier choreographers who've worked on Dancing With The Stars, The Voice, and Childish Gambino's iconic performances.

His passion for storytelling led him to explore visual effects, working with top post-production houses like Framestore and Animal Logic. It's this blend of creativity and technical expertise that has shaped his unique voice as a filmmaker.

Now based in Los Angeles, Samuel's still chasing new stories. His recent work for OFL, done in collaboration with TMW, snagged People's Choice and a bronze at the London Ad Age Festival. He's also working on his first TV series with Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions.
